Your clinic, within reach. Day and night.

Owners carry your clinic’s card on their phone: what each pet needs next, a reminder before it is due, one tap to book or call you. After hours, its urgent button reaches your emergency line or a partner clinic. Your team doesn’t send a thing.

Two minutes, seven questions. First month free, no card details, no sales call.

Why clinics start with TailPlan

Live in an evening, for you and for owners

Your team uploads any client list and gets the card ready in a few minutes. Owners add it with one tap: no app, no account, no password.

A free channel to every owner

Reminders arrive as free notifications from your card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Telegram, WhatsApp and SMS are only a fallback.

Built for vets, ready on day one

Plans follow WSAVA and ESCCAP guidance by species, breed, age and region. AI maps product names like Nobivac to the right item.

How it looks on the owner’s phone

Two ways to get the card, then reminders that arrive for free and a card that keeps itself up to date.

TailPlan in under a minute. The screens are real; the clinic and its numbers are an invented demo.

The gap is mostly in the conversation

Cost matters for some owners. But in recent European surveys, many owners of unvaccinated pets didn’t know what their vet recommended, and the vet’s recommendation was the factor most strongly linked to whether a dog was vaccinated.

61% vs 6%

of owners of unvaccinated cats didn’t know how often their vet recommended revaccination, against 6% of owners whose cats were up to date. Italy, 1,247 owners; an association, not proof of cause.

Peer-reviewedFilipe et al., BMC Veterinary Research 2021
46.8%

of dogs in Germany were vaccinated to current guidelines. What the vet recommended was the factor most strongly linked to vaccination status. 3,881 owners.

58%

of practices that sent reminders never checked whether the client actually booked.

The card

You hand out the card. We run the conversation.

No app for owners to install, no software for your team to learn. The owner taps a link and your card is in their phone’s wallet, next to boarding passes and loyalty cards. Every reminder, update and recall on it is processed by TailPlan.

Why owners add the card gladly

Owners want to do the right thing for their pet. The card makes that easy, and it asks nothing of them: no app, no account, no password.

No dates to remember

The next vaccine or treatment is on the phone, with a reminder at the right moment. No guilt about the booster nobody remembered.

Records always at hand

What was done and what is next, on the phone instead of in a paper booklet at home. Handy when a groomer, kennel or pet sitter asks.

A plan from their own vet

Made for their pet’s species, breed and age, and confirmed by the clinic they trust, not generic advice from the internet.

One tap to the clinic

Call or message straight from the card. No searching for the clinic’s number when it is time to book the next visit.

Nothing to install

The card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, already on every phone. One card per pet, in the owner’s language.

A reason to share

Each card has a personal code to pass to friends. If the clinic offers a thank‑you, both owners get it when they visit.

27%

of owners of vaccinated cats said reminders influenced their decision to vaccinate. 5,071 owners in 14 countries.

Peer-reviewed, manufacturer-fundedCarroll et al., Veterinary Sciences 2026
90.22%

of people aged 16–74 in Cyprus used instant messaging such as WhatsApp or Viber in 2025, against 76.92% who used email.

Inside the cabinet

Everything the clinic does in TailPlan happens on a handful of screens. These are real screens, filled with an invented demo clinic.

TailPlan results page: cards installed, patients returned and on-time rate
  • Results. Cards installed in Apple and Google Wallet, patients who came back after a reminder, and your on‑time rate against where you started.

Less work for your team, not more

Retention tools fail when they add work to the busiest people in the clinic. TailPlan is designed around one rule: no extra screens at the front desk.

Clinic owner

Sees who came back after a reminder, which pets are overdue and what those visits are worth, updated daily.

Veterinarians

Approve the clinic’s default plan once and adjust a single pet when needed. Each item links to its published guideline.

Reception

Marks a procedure done in about 20 seconds at checkout, or not at all if the clinic sends a weekly export.

What waiting costs

Due dates don’t wait for a good moment to start. Move the slider to your clinic’s size: this is roughly how many preventive visits pass their date unnoticed every month.

Assumes 2 preventive visits per pet a year, 70% happening today and €45 per visit. Use your own numbers.

What’s included and how billing works

Questions clinics ask first

More in pricing and data & GDPR.

Do we have to change our practice software?
No. TailPlan works next to whatever you use today, including Excel or paper. You upload a list once, then either send a weekly export or mark procedures as done in TailPlan.
Do owners need to install an app?
No. The card opens in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already on their phones. Owners without Wallet get reminders by Telegram, free, or by WhatsApp or SMS if you turn them on.
Who decides what goes into the plan?
Your veterinarians. TailPlan proposes defaults from published guidelines, and nothing reaches an owner until your vet has confirmed the template.
Is it safe to upload our client list?
Your clinic stays the data controller and we act as processor under a data processing agreement you accept before uploading. We store only what reminders need. Details in data & GDPR.
What happens after the free month?
If you continue, you pay the monthly price for the band your active cards fall into. If not, reminders stop and we delete your clients’ data within 30 days.

How many of your patients are overdue right now?

Seven questions give you an estimate. Your client list gives you the names.
